Who are we looking for

We’re looking for a strong Backend Engineer (Python) with solid experience in designing and building production-ready systems. You should be comfortable making architectural decisions, writing clean and maintainable code, and working in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can translate business needs into scalable backend solutions.

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and evolve backend APIs supporting complex business workflows, AI agent interactions, and cross-service integrations.

• Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant architecture for our platform

• Build API Integrations for AI Agents, connect external tools (Google Search Console, Analytics, Ahrefs, etc.) to our AI system through

• Add new integrations using MCP to expand our AI capabilities

• Implement architectural improvements, including refactoring monolithic components into modular microservices

• Improve system observability through better logging, metrics, and tracing practices

Technology Stack

• FastAPI as a web framework

• Uvicorn - ASGI web server

• Pydantic - Data validation

• PostgreSQL with vector support

• Redis/Valkey - Caching and pub/sub

• ClickHouse - Analytics/OLAP database

• SQLAlchemy - ORM

• Datadog DDTrace - APM monitoring

• Docker, k8s, AWS, Github Actions

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python (4+ years of professional experience)

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, including asyncio and async/await

• Expertise with FastAPI, covering middleware, dependency injection, Server-Sent Events (SSE) streaming, and lifecycle management

• Solid grasp of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable systems

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and database design

• Strong knowledge of data validation and processing techniques

• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade systems

• Practical knowledge of deploying, scaling, and managing containerized python applications in Kubernetes environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, particularly LLMs

• Background in marketing analytics or web analytics

• Knowledge of prompt engineering for LLMs

• Experience with data visualization libraries

• Experience with Docker containerization, Docker Compose orchestration, and managing multi-container applications
