Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Collaborate with underwriting companies and general agencies to collect and process invoices promptly and accurately.
- Financial Relationship Management: Oversee financial relationships with stakeholders, ensuring integrity and transparency in all transactions.
- Bank Communications: Liaise with banks to facilitate smooth financial operations and address any banking-related inquiries.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other essential documents.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems with meticulous attention to detail.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to management, providing insights into the company's financial health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks; familiarity with tax software is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.
