Andersen is looking for a Frontend Developer (React) for a large eCommerce project with a global company. The role involves developing a platform for delivering consumer products in a fast-growing business environment.

The customer is a multinational company operating in over 120 countries. It focuses on developing and delivering products for adult consumers while emphasizing quality, innovation, and responsible business practices. The organization is committed to reducing its environmental footprint, promoting workplace diversity and inclusion, and supporting local communities through various sustainability and social impact initiatives.

The project is the development of the eCommerce platform for delivering reduced-risk products. This branch started as a start-up inside the client's business and has grown in a separate direction.

Technology stack on the project: React 17+, Next.js, TypeScript 4, Redux, React Query, Webpack 5+.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining React.js applications.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborating with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
• Implementing security and data protection measures.
• Optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensuring code quality through different types of testing and continuous integration.

Must-haves:

• Experience in React application development for 5+ years.
• Experience in front-end HTML development (Vanilla-JS, HTML5, CSS) for 5+ years.
• Proficiency in modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Bootstrap) and CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid Layouts).
• Experience working with module bundlers and transpilers.
• Proficiency in developing single-page applications.
• Experience with patterns and state management libraries (Redux/Vuex).
• Experience with API integration and API Mocking.
• Experience with UI design management tools (Figma/Sketch/Invision).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience making technical decisions — choosing libraries, refactoring, and improving architecture.
• Ability to explain and defend decisions based on experience and technical knowledge.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining high code quality.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in back-end languages.
• Solid knowledge of technology used within front-end solutions, specifically Next.js.
• Autonomy in working with assets and visuals (PSD files).
• Experience in building and developing PWA applications.
• Experience with Adobe stack (Magento and AEM) and Builder.io.
