The IT company Andersen invites an experienced JavaScript Developer to work on a large-scale project for one of our UAE customers.

The customer is a leading provider of advanced precut film solutions for vehicles. The company offers a wide range of high-quality products, including body rotection films, tint films, and other accessories. The company actively collaborates with leading global brands and participates in major exhibitions such as the SEMA Show and Automechanika.

The project is the extending and enhancing of an existing desktop application built with Electron.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing complex features for SVG shape modification, including handling non-standard and irregular geometries.
• Utilizing advanced 2D affine transformations, matrix manipulation, and pathfinding algorithms.
• Integrating and optimizing cutting protocols such as HPGL and DMPL.
• Ensuring seamless generation and execution of cutting commands tailored to PPF and window tint templates.
• Deeply integrating with plotter hardware via SDKs, facilitating robust communication through USB and Ethernet interfaces.
• Establishing bi-directional data streams to send cutting commands and receive real-time feedback from the cutter.
• Ensuring high accuracy and error correction during the cutting process.
• Refactoring and optimizing existing code to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Adhering to established software architecture while implementing new functionality.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a JavaScript Developer for 3+ years.
• Advanced skills in TypeScript.
• Experience with SVG for shape modification.
• Experience with WebGL.
• Strong understanding of 2D affine transformations, matrix manipulation, and pathfinding algorithms.
• Familiarity with cutting protocols such as HPGL and DMPL.
• Experience with plotter hardware integration via SDKs.
• Proficiency in establishing bi-directional data streams and real-time feedback loops.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with C++, .NET and Node.js.
• Experience with Electron and desktop application development.
