We're looking for a Middle or Senior Technical Writer to join Doumo — a fast-growing platform revolutionizing how accounting firms onboard and collaborate with clients.

Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining user documentation for our customers in plain English.
- Understanding the product with many features and collaborating with product, development, marketing, and the other teams to gather technical information.
- Adapting your writing to the existing style guide.
- Analyzing outdated articles and updating them promptly.
- Improving existing technical software documentation.
- Completing other writing-related tasks, e.g., reviewing video scripts and educational courses regarding technical expertise, etc.
Requirements
- Location - anywhere outside of Russia
- English level B2+
- Technical documentation writing experience: 2+ years. Experience writing user documentation for SaaS is a plus.
- Systematic thinking. The ability to break down complicated topics and explain them briefly as possible in simple words.
- Ability to look at software product from a user's point of view, an undying desire to understand and test how a feature works before handing out a doc. Be ready to reach client-facing teams to find the value, use cases, etc.
- A love of bulleted lists, subheadings, neat screenshots, and, most importantly, the people for whom you are creating content. Your attention to detail and willingness to document perfection matters a lot, too.
- HTML, Markdown, GIT, Jira, Confluence, and Snagit skills are essential.
- Smart use of AI at work (yeah, it helps a lot—but if you think it will work for you instead of with you, there’s no reason to hire you, right?)
- You should have a positive attitude, plenty of energy and enthusiasm, be ready for remote communications, and be able to finish what you start.
- Ability to work in an unstable environment where things are constantly changing. Adaptability is the ability to switch to other tasks as needed and lead several projects simultaneously.
