About the role:
It’s a high-impact position with real ownership over market entry, payments, and execution. You’ll work in fast-moving environments, often with limited structure, where speed, judgment, and resourcefulness matter more than perfect conditions. Success in this role means markets are opened, payments work, users can deposit and withdraw, and the business scales.



Key Responsibilities

  • Market Entry: Identify and open new countries for operations quickly; develop and execute market entry and business development strategies.

  • Payment Infrastructure: Build, implement, and optimize payment solutions locally (Banks, PSPs, Crypto, local processors, agents).

  • Landscape Analysis: Conduct high-level market, partner, and payment landscape analysis before launch.

  • Field Deployment: Travel extensively (~80%) and be ready to deploy on short notice.

  • Networking: Forge strong relationships with local partners, fixers, and payment stakeholders.

  • Strategic Negotiations: Engage with senior stakeholders (Banks, PSPs, regulators) and drive strategic negotiations.

  • Operational Execution: Negotiate deals, test setups, and ensure working payment flows that enable market launch.

  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor regulatory, banking, and risk developments and act proactively.

  • Internal Scaling: Work closely with Ops, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure solutions scale efficiently.

  • Crisis Management: Maintain Plan B (and C) for every high-risk scenario; move fast in chaotic environments.

Experience & Skills Needed

  • Industry Expertise: Strong background in payments, fintech, or iGaming.

  • Professional Network: Established network across PSPs, acquirers, or local agents.

  • Expansion Track Record: Experience building and executing go-to-market and expansion strategies.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess markets, risks, and ROI at a high level.

  • Grey Zone Navigation: Experience operating in grey zones safely and smartly.

  • Languages: Fluent English; additional languages relevant to emerging markets are a plus.

  • Deal Closing: Proven track record in business development, deal-making, and market entry.

  • Negotiation: Strong skills with the ability to close complex, high-stakes deals.
