Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (C#) for a project with an Australian tech company. The role involves building a high-performance system for smart sensor data in power networks and setting up automated testing to ensure quality and efficiency.

The customer is an Australia-based technology company that provides advanced early fault detection solutions for power networks, helping utilities prevent wildfires and outages through precise monitoring and real-time analytics. Rapidly expanding worldwide, it plays a key role in improving energy reliability and safety.

The project is focused on building a high-performance system to consolidate data from smart sensors monitoring critical power infrastructure. It also aims to establish an AQA process to automate testing, improve quality, and accelerate delivery.

Technology stack: NET, React, AWS, TestRail.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up automation testing frameworks.
• Automating web app testing (UI + API).
• Analysing requirements and defining test scenarios.
• Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts (UI, API, regression) using C#.
• Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Reporting and tracking defects, supporting developers in debugging.
• Ensuring test coverage, stability, and reporting of results.
• Continuously improving automation frameworks and QA processes.

Must-haves:

• Commercial experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 3+ years.
• Strong proficiency in C# with hands-on experience writing automated tests.
• Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
• Experience with automating web application testing for both UI and API.
• Familiarity with Selenium or similar automation tools.
• Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns in test automation.
• Knowledge of RESTful API testing using tools.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate.
