Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP.
• Work with frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel.
• Customize and extend WordPress using hooks, filters, and Gutenberg blocks.
• Refactor and improve legacy code.
• Configure and manage web servers, including Nginx, without relying on a control panel.
• Schedule tasks using crontab.
• Required Skills and Experience:

PHP Expertise:

• Experience with Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including hooks, filters, and Gutenberg blocks.
• Ability to work with legacy code and a desire to refactor and improve it.

JavaScript Skills:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript.
• Experience with React, including using the Zustand state manager.

API and JSON:

• Proven experience in creating APIs.
• Proficient in working with JSON data.

Server Management:

• Experience working with web servers, specifically Nginx.
• Ability to configure server settings for website operations without a control panel
• Familiarity with scheduling tasks using crontab.

Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Docker for containerisation.
