About the position

We're looking for a Middle BI Developer to design, build, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that turn complex data into actionable insights. You’ll work across various projects within the QIC Ecosystem, collaborating with multiple teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, optimized SQL queries to implement complex business logic and ensure data accuracy
• Translate business requirements into actionable, end-to-end Tableau reports, from specifications to delivery
• Design scalable dashboards that adapt to future growth and maintain performance as complexity increases
• Update and maintain existing Tableau dashboards to keep performance and accuracy high
• Use data-storytelling techniques to convey insights to stakeholders
• Create and maintain documentation of dashboards’ sources and logic
• Perform ad-hoc analyses with SQL or Excel to answer business questions
• Guide colleagues on BI best practices and Tableau techniques to strengthen team expertise
• Develop self-service BI tools and processes so teams can access data independently
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a BI Developer
• Advanced SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Proficiency in Tableau is required
• Good understanding of data-visualization practices
• Knowledge of data querying and analysis using Excel or similar tools
• Understanding of Database Systems & Data Modeling
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, recognizing when requirements need adjustment and proposing improvements
• Clear verbal communication skills for discussing requirements and presenting findings
• Strong written skills for creating technical specifications, user guides, and documentation
• Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving BI and Data Analysis technologies and trends

• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday

• Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
