Andersen is hiring a Business/System Analyst for a major Kazakh bank. The project involves developing a cross-platform mobile banking app and web admin panel.

The customer is one of the oldest and most reliable financial institutions in Kazakhstan, operating in the banking sector for over 30 years. It offers a full range of financial services for both individual and corporate clients, including business lending, mortgages, consumer loans, deposits, payment services, and digital banking solutions. The project is focused on developing a cross-platform mobile banking app and a web-based admin panel. It includes authentication, biometrics, card and wallet tokenization, account and loan management, payments, transfers, QR features, and full Apple ecosystem integration (Face ID, push notifications).

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, analyzing, and formalizing business requirements, documenting them as specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Modeling business processes (BPMN,UML, flow charts) and describing the logic of system interactions.
• Collaborating with development,QA, and architecture teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Organizing workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders.
• Managing the product backlog, participating in release planning, and building the roadmap.
• Analyzing data, preparing reports and metrics to support management decisions.
• Participating in the design of system architecture and integration with external services.
• Monitoring requirement implementation, preparing test scenarios, and verifying results.
• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, PSD2).

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Business or System Analyst in banking or fintech for 3+ years.
• Strong understanding of banking products and processes (cards, accounts, loans, payments, transfers, tokenization).
• Experience integrating internal and external systems, including SWIFT, ERP, and third-party services.
• Knowledge of business analysis and modeling tools (BPMN, UML, ERD, C4).
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis skills, experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience documenting requirements (BRD, FSD, SRS), preparing user stories, and process diagrams.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, API-first, REST/gRPC, and event-driven approaches.
• Experience working with BPM systems (e.g., Camunda) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work with DevOps, architects, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding security and regulatory compliance.
• Level of English – Intermediate and above.
