Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our data team and help build reliable, scalable data solutions. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with data pipelines, collaborating with analytics teams, and improving data platforms in a fast-growing, data-driven environment.

Purpose of the role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and storage solutions that support analytics and reporting needs. Your mission is to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and reliable, while continuously improving data processing workflows and overall data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and maintain datasets to support analytics and reporting use cases

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for data collection, integration, and transformation using Python and Airflow

• Monitor data pipeline performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to ensure stability and efficiency

• Collaborate closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to resolve data-related challenges and improve data usage

• Support the management and optimization of ClickHouse databases, ensuring data accuracy and availability

• Contribute to data modeling and database design to support analytical platforms and data applications

• Keep up to date with modern data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices

Required experience:

• 2+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong knowledge of database technologies; experience with ClickHouse is a strong advantage

• Confident SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

• Proficiency in Python, including building ETL and data processing pipelines

• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools, such as Airflow

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• English and Russian proficiency (B2+)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts

• Experience with Tableau, including building and maintaining data sources
