Frontend Developer (React)

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Frontend Developer (React) to join its team for working with a Swiss company in the field of Automotive.

The customer is a global leader in the development, production, and servicing of advanced turbochargers and digital solutions. With a focus on enhancing engine power and efficiency while reducing emissions, the customer’s products are utilized across various sectors, including marine, energy, and rail.

The project is platform that provides a foundation for the digital transformation of the business by connecting our marine and power plant customers to their performance and service data.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a part of an agile development team, taking responsibility for the evolution of the front-end application with a strong focus on User Experience.
• Collaborating with system/feature stakeholders to discuss, collect, interpret, and analyze technical constraints and helping translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Representing your domain in the team and being a driver for implementing best practices and innovations of modern User Interface.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Performing peer code reviews.
• Analyzing unfamiliar code of reasonable complexity to understand, extend, and refactor it.
• Performing testing and writing unit tests wherever needed.
• Adhering to and enforcing the quality and security standards to deliver a sustainable product.

Must-haves:

• Solid experienced working on SPA with React, TypeScript and Redux for 3+ years.
• Knowledge of modern trends in the User Interface design and implementation using Web-based technologies.
• Strong focus on User Experience and UI design and architecture.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience using DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity using charting libraries such as Vue, DevExtreme.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
• Experience with SASS, Material UI.
