About the Role

We are looking for a Game QA Engineer with experience in game testing and gameplay systems validation to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on manual testing of gameplay features, progression systems, and interconnected game mechanics. You will collaborate closely with developers, game designers, and producers to ensure gameplay stability, system reliability, and a high-quality player experience.

This role is ideal for QA specialists with experience in live games, strategy games, or systems-driven gameplay such as 4X and RPG progression systems.

What You Will Do

Gameplay Feature Testing

• Perform manual testing of gameplay features to validate functionality, performance, and player experience.
• Execute regression testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing across game builds.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects in JIRA.
• Provide clear and actionable bug reports for developers and designers.
• Maintain and updаtеtest cases, test plans, and QA documentation.

Gameplay Systems Testing

• You will validate complex gameplay systems.
• Player Base Development
• Validate buildings functionality
• Verify construction times and cost scaling
• Test repair flow
• Validate backend-driven configuration of base progression

ARPG Champions

• Test champion acquisition
• Validate leveling and progression
• Verify traits, active abilities, and combat modifiers

Reward Systems

• Test end-to-end reward flows
• Validate integrations with combat, events, missions, milestones, and purchases

Map navigation

• Conduct functional and systemic testing for galaxy map navigation
• Validate fog-of-war systems
• Test point-of-interest discovery and map-based rewards

Achievements

• Test progression-based achievements
• Validate milestone achievements
• Verify event-driven achievement triggers

Fleets

• Test fleet creation and coordination
• Validate combat resolution
• Verify reward distribution

Inbox Messages

• Test system messages
• Validate player-targeted communications
• Verify time-limited rewards, updates, and GM messages

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in game testing, preferably in live games, strategy games, or systems-driven gameplay.
• Experience testing base-building systems and RTS fog-of-war mechanics.
• Understanding of game economy systems, including rarity tiers, scaling curves, and progression systems common in 4X and live-service strategy games.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand complex system interactions.
• Experience designing and maintaining structured test plans and test cases.
• Passion for strategy games, 4X mechanics, and long-term progression systems.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
• English level: B1+
