We are an innovative IT company specializing in the development, implementation, and support of cutting-edge technologies worldwide. To achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking for a professional and experienced Head of Legal to oversee legal operations, intellectual property management, contract drafting and review, and regulatory compliance for our company and its products.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Strategy and Compliance:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of the company’s legal strategy to support international operations;
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, including IT regulations, intellectual property, and data protection laws.

Intellectual Property Management:

• Protect the company’s intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents;
• Coordinate the registration of trademarks and other intellectual property in key jurisdictions;
• Provide legal support for licensing agreements and monitor compliance with royalty payment obligations.

Contract Management:

• Draft and review local and international contracts, including licensing agreements with providers worldwide;
• Ensure contracts align with the company’s business objectives and minimize legal risks.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Work closely with the legal team at the headquarters, technical support teams, developers, and other departments to address legal challenges;
• Advise the company’s leadership on legal aspects of strategic decisions;
• Build and maintain an efficient and well-functioning local legal team.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in law; additional qualifications in intellectual property law are a strong advantage;
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in IT or SaaS sectors;
• Experience in corporate finance and tax planning is a plus;
• In-depth knowledge of Georgian law and contract management; expertise in international law is an advantag;
• Fluent in Georgian and English, both written and verbal;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform efficiently under tight deadlines;
• A proactive mindset, with excellent analytical and organizational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
• Initiative, independence, and a high level of professional ethics;
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills;
• Flexibility and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
