Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Meta Game Designer to work on our new PvP action game, where players compete with each other by using parkour, fighting and physics. In the future players will receive a wide opportunity to develop their own levels, rules and even mini-games by using the built-in editor.
The game is cross-platform - for mobile devices, PC, and consoles.

Our ideal candidate enjoys mobile games and plays them regularly. They know how to write a clear GD documentation and understand how to create multiple engaging goals for players to achieve. They are also familiar with how game cycles and sessions work in modern multiplayer f2p projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement meta-mechanics for an upcoming cross-platform game.

• Create engaging progress and achievement systems.

• Write game design documentation.

• Control the production of features from concept to implementation in collaboration with programmers and other teams.

• Analyze project's and features' metrics.

• Participate in formation of plans for the project's future.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a game designer within at least 2 projects in portfolio that have seen their release;
• The ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely.
• The genuine habit of playing mobile games to keep the reference base up to date;
• Experience playing PvP games or games with prevalent social mechanics.

Would be a plus:

• Programming skills, especially experience with JavaScript.

• Experience working with analytics.

• Great familiarity with Roblox, custom servers in Minecraft, etc.
