Mid Level QA / Documentation Lead

We are looking for a meticulous, curious, and motivated Mid-Level QA / Documentation Lead to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be a key guardian of product quality—owning manual testing across multiple platforms while keeping our documentation clear, organized, and up to date.

What You’ll Do

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance (Primary)

You will lead end-to-end manual testing across multiple applications and report with clarity and precision.

You’ll test:

Giftsenda Senders Platform

– Customer-facing flows: browsing, checkout, payments, recipient communication.

Giftsenda Internal Order Management Platform

– Internal workflows, data accuracy, order processing logic, and status updates.

Giftsenda Partner Platform

– Partner-facing tools for receiving orders, syncing statuses, and reporting.

Internal Reporting Tools (Preset / Apache Superset / Custom Dashboards)

– Data accuracy, filter logic, metric correctness, and cross-platform consistency.

Your responsibilities include:

• Executing test cases for new features and bug fixes

• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with clean repro steps

• Running regression tests to prevent functional breaks

• Conducting smoke tests in staging and pre-production

• Collaborating with developers to validate fixes and resolve issues

• Ensuring all testing artifacts remain updated and accurate

Documentation & Process Support

You will help maintain clarity and consistency across our internal knowledge base.

You will:

• Write and maintain test cases in Markdown

• Document bugs, known issues, and workarounds

• Assist with updating feature documentation and testing procedures

• Follow and help improve documentation standards and best practices

Requirements & Must-Haves

• 3+ years of professional manual QA experience

• Strong understanding of QA workflows, SDLC, and regression testing

• SQL skills: confident with SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, ORDER BY

• Ability to understand more complex queries

• Markdown proficiency (comfortable documenting using Markdown syntax)

• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Ability to work 40 hours/week with at least 5 overlapping hours with EU time zones
