A stealth-mode AI-powered Cloud-Native Health-Tech company is looking for a Mobile QA Engineer.

The Business Domain revolves around providing Better Care for the US Patients; meaning, it’s about Treating Patients well. The company was founded more than five years ago. It’s not vaporware, their platform supports US Physician Networks (IPAs) by enabling Smarter, Risk-Adjusted, and more Predictive Care that improves real patient outcomes.

The company has Unlimited PTOs Policy and compensated New Years Holidays on top of that. The misuse of the policy isn’t welcomed, though it’s definitely possible to take at least two weeks – and fully compensated – vacation, or more.

Means of Communication

We use Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and similar collaboration tools for messaging, meetings, and document sharing across the organization. We don’t use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and similar software.

Cloud-Native

There’s real ability to make most solutions in a Cloud-Native and Third-Party Integrations manner, rarely spinning something self-hosted (e.g., over GKE). Fully Serverless Approach, based on Cloud Functions and Cloud Run is definitely not welcomed.

Relocation

Relocation assistance to a desired country may be provided after the probationary period, based on business needs and demonstrated performance.

Team Building

The company partially compensates Team Building events, when multiple teammates are located in nearby countries.

Required Experience

• Single codebase (IOS/Android) cross-platform testing

• Understanding test types: Functional, performance, regression, smoke, exploratory, release testing

• Can write clear test cases, checklists, and bug reports

• In-depth functional testing: complex flows, edge cases, hard-to-reproduce issues

• Bug isolation & triage: narrow down failing step, screen, platform, and likely layer

• API/network debugging — validate requests/responses (e.g. via proxy tools), correlate UI issues with backend behavior

• Stage vs Prod environments, multiple app brands/flavors

• Understands handling of sensitive/PHI data in testing

• Hands-on testing on physical iPhones and Android devices (not only emulators)

• Release support: Has participated in app store release cycles (TestFlight, Play internal/beta)

Optional

• Experience testing login/logout, SSO/OAuth, deep links, token refresh, WebSockets, voice recording, health app integration, push notifications

• Comfortable testing offline/poor network, API errors, session expiry

Требования:

• Кроссплатформенное тестирование на основе единой кодовой базы (iOS/Android)

• Понимание типов тестов: функциональное, производительности, регрессионное, «smoke», эксплораторное, релизное тестирование

• Умение составлять четкие тестовые случаи, контрольные списки и отчеты об ошибках

• Углубленное функциональное тестирование: сложные рабочие потоки, пограничные случаи, трудновоспроизводимые проблемы

• Изоляция и классификация ошибок: сужение круга поиска до конкретного шага, экрана, платформы и вероятного уровня

• Отладка API/сети — проверка запросов/ответов (например, с помощью прокси-инструментов), сопоставление проблем пользовательского интерфейса с поведением бэкенда

• Тестовая и производственная среды, несколько брендов/версий приложений

• Понимание принципов работы с конфиденциальными данными и данными о здоровье пациентов (PHI) в процессе тестирования

• Практическое тестирование на реальных устройствах iPhone и Android (а не только на эмуляторах)

• Поддержка выпуска: участвовал в циклах выпуска приложений в магазинах приложений (TestFlight, Play (внутренняя версия/бета))
