Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Product Owner to work on a large-scale project for one of our US customers.
The customer is an American global information company (ranked 11th on Forbes’ list of the fastest-growing innovative companies). The customer produces its own unique software product, the users of which are world-renowned companies (NASA, Samsung, Sony, etc.).
The project is an information platform for engineers that is based on a modern model of information extraction, analytics and semantic search using Big Data and connects more than 7 million engineers worldwide. The platform helps engineers and other technical professionals achieve sustainable productivity improvements, make and implement decisions faster, and strengthen the competitive advantage of their companies.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product's needs and goals.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Writing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Regularly refining and prioritizing the backlog to ensure the most valuable items are being worked on.
- Participating in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand and commit to the highest priority items.
- Participating in the daily meetings with two development teams to get the status of the things they are working on and help where it's needed.
- Reviewing and accepting completed user stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria.
- Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities.
- Working closely with development, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to product development and delivery.
- Creating mockups and wireframes in the places where that is requested and cannot be helped by a designer's team.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Product Owner for 5+ years.
- Knowledge of Business and System Analysis.
- Ability to lead and support a cross-functional, agile team to deliver customer value.
- Skill to create, maintain, and test feature requirements and user stories.
- Capability to collaborate with engineering, design, sales, product, customer support, data analytics, and legal teams.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to shape the product vision and concept.
- Skill to communicate the Scrum team's progress, convey the Product Manager's vision, discuss growth opportunities, and interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to align the product roadmap with strategic goals through internal and external analysis.
- Capability to manage the product backlog with product/business teams based on business value or ROI.
- Skill to turn data into customer-centric products.
- Ability to adapt to an agile environment, reevaluate needs, prioritize, define milestones, and identify risks.
- Skill to define business and technical requirements, resources, and processes for complex systems.
- Capability to demonstrate clear, concise, and practical communication.
- Ability to communicate with clients, identify problems, and convey results to both Business and Developers.
- Good understanding of microservices and integrations.
- Basic understanding of working with a database.
- Level of English – from Upper- Intermediate+ and above.
