Andersen is hiring an QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join a FinTech project, building and testing a secure, scalable credit card management system for a major bank.

The project is the development of a new credit card management system for a major bank, seamlessly integrated into the existing digital ecosystem. It is a large-scale initiative focused on building a secure, high-performance, and scalable platform to ensure efficient credit card lifecycle management and support the expansion of lending services.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and execute manual and automated testing efforts to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Developing, maintain, and review detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Performing API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to validate backend services.
• Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize testing processes.
• Communicating effectively across teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements, test results, and quality risks.
• Utilizying automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, Cypress, or TestCafe to build and run test suites.
• Integrating testing processes within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.

Must-haves:

• Professional experience in QA and software testing for 5+ years.
• Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Programming language Java.
• Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Jest, Cypress, TestCafe, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing clear and detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
• Comfortable working with version control systems (Git) and participating in code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and leading QA efforts.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of performance and security testing principles.
• Performance and Load test experience (Apache JMeter or similar).
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and leading QA efforts.
