Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Environment/Material Artist for one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE.

SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the visual quality of environmental assets.
• Own the materials pipeline in the project.
• Work on the material workflow.
• Collaborate closely with other level artists and the Art Director to ensure a cohesive visual style.
• Contribute to the visual design of game levels.

Requirements:

• Experience with level art in UE5.
• Proficiency with layered materials in UE5.
• Strong skills in working with textures, trims, and UV mapping.
• Modeling, baking, and understanding nanite-lumen pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Substance Designer.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the art team.
