We are looking for a Trading Platform Engineer to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for administering Windows Server environments and MetaTrader 4/5 trading platforms — ensuring the stability and reliability of mission-critical trading infrastructure. You will work directly with clients to resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure their trading environments run smoothly.

This is a shift-based role with rotating schedules including night shifts. The position is available on-site in Cyprus or fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain MT4/MT5 trading servers and related components
• Diagnose and resolve complex platform issues, including crash dump analysis and performance troubleshooting
• Monitor system performance, availability, and stability of client trading environments using monitoring and alerting tools
• Implement platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
• Support integration between trading platforms and liquidity aggregation systems
• Collaborate with support and development teams to investigate and resolve deep technical issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and MT4/MT5 trading platform management
• Proficiency with Windows debugging and diagnostic tools (WinDbg, Event Viewer, Sysinternals)
• Good understanding of FX/CFD trading mechanics and how trading platforms operate
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Knowledge of SQL for database troubleshooting and reporting
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a client-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights

Nice to have

• Experience with liquidity aggregation systems (e.g., PrimeXM XCore)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell or Python)
• Familiarity with FIX protocol
• Knowledge of Linux systems
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, KVM)
