ZiMAD, a leading mobile game developer and publisher based in Florida, is on a mission to expand its successful mobile game portfolio to the web. By porting its popular mobile titles to online platforms, ZiMAD aims to attract new users, monetize them effectively, and, most importantly, guide them back to its mobile properties for a seamless cross-platform experience.

We’ve forged partnerships with internationally renowned IPs (like Disney, Nickelodeon, LIFE, Sony Pictures etc.) and strive to develop games that sharpen mental well-being and deliver remarkable user experiences.

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support to the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage contract support: draft and updаtеthe company’s standard contract templates; review and negotiate terms with partners; identify, analyze, and assess legal and commercial risks. Typical agreements include contracts for advertising services, analytics, ad placement, development, licensing, acquisition, and transfer of intellectual property, as well as data protection agreements
• Conduct business correspondence in English
• Ensure legal and platform compliance: ensure adherence to applicable laws and platform policies (Google Play, App Store, Amazon Appstore, and others)
• Oversee data protection compliance
• Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property rights

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar or related legal role

• 1+ year of experience in the IT or game development industry
• Experience drafting user-facing legal documents (Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, etc.), internal policies, and commercial contracts
• General understanding of U.S. contract law
• English language proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Basic understanding of data privacy regulations in the U.S. (sectoral approach) and the EU
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Experience in intellectual property and IT law
• Ability to manage and process large volumes of information
• Comfortable working with a distributed international team across multiple time zones
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
